Public Objections to Proposed Rates and Tariffs Increases

This is just to advise all City of Joburg residents that if they'd like to object to the proposed new 2010/11 rates and tariffs increases - either individually or collectively - they can do so for the next 30 days.

Details of the proposed new tariff structure are available on the city's web site, and any objections must be made in writing.

These should be addressed to the Mpho Mapheto in the City Manager's office at either mphomap@joburg.co.za, tariffcomments@joburg.co.za or P.O. Box 1409, Johannesburg, 2000. Residents who are unable to write can make verbal submissions at a number of different city offices (contact us for further details if you need them).
